Discover why the Herberger Institute is right for you.
Built on a dynamic combination of disciplines unlike any other design and arts school in the nation, the ASU Herberger Institute connects, fuses and merges fields. Choose from architecture, art, dance, design, fashion, film, media arts and sciences, music, theatre, XRts and more, or create your own unique plan of study with our cross-institute degrees, minors and certificates.
Advancing creative expression for everyone
With more than 9,000 artists, designers and scholars working, teaching and learning together across six schools and two museums, the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts is a creative city within Arizona State University – and that creativity reaches beyond the borders of ASU’s Tempe campus, from working with partners and peers abroad to offering online design and arts degrees for students wanting to learn virtually to our locations across four cities.
