This summer is the perfect time to add creativity to your college experience, and Herberger Institute offers a range of design and arts electives that fulfill CS, HU or L general studies designations and awareness area requirements for C, CS, H, HU, G, L or SB.

Herberger Institute offers several options for learning to design and arts teachers, community members and anyone not seeking a degree but still interested in enriching your life through learning.
New first-year and new transfer students who are beginning their ASU journey in fall 2020 can get a head start as a New American University Summer Scholar by taking 100 and 200-level design and arts courses and general education requirements. New first-year and transfer students will receive a $500 Summer 2020 Award per every three credits taken.
ASU is open and offering online courses this summer. Undergraduate students in good academic standing at any community college, four-year college or university are eligible to take ASU courses for credits that can be applied to their major at their home institution.
