ASU’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts welcomes all learners to take classes for credit or for personal enrichment over the summer. Get on track, accelerate your degree and have a productive summer. Registration for summer 2020 is closed.

Registration for Summer 2021 classes will be announced at a later date.

Stay on track

Current Herberger Institute students can make sure they stay on track or get ahead on their path toward graduation with summer sessions. Currently enrolled on-campus undergraduate students who are non-residents or international students will receive a $700 Summer 2020 Award for every three credits taken.

Get ahead this summer

New first-year and new transfer students who are beginning their ASU journey in fall 2020 can get a head start as a New American University Summer Scholar by taking 100 and 200-level design and arts courses and general education requirements. New first-year and transfer students will receive a $500 Summer 2020 Award per every three credits taken.

This summer is the perfect time to add creativity to your college experience, and Herberger Institute offers a range of design and arts electives that fulfill CS, HU or L general studies designations and awareness area requirements for C, CS, H, HU, G, L or SB.

ASU is open and offering online courses this summer. Undergraduate students in good academic standing at any community college, four-year college or university are eligible to take ASU courses for credits that can be applied to their major at their home institution.
