At-Door Ticket Sales

At-Door Ticket Sales

The Box office opens for ticket sales at each event venue one hour prior to the performance time and closes fifteen (15) minutes after the performance time listed. We recommend buying tickets in advance to ensure entrance into the performance.

Complimentary Ticket Policies

Complimentary Ticket Policies

Complimentary tickets are not available at the door and must be requested in advance. New Policy 8-1-18: In the event of a sold out performance, if your complimentary ticket has not been scanned in prior to the performance start time on the ticket, your ticket may be forfeited and released for sale to patrons on the waitlist. Complimentary tickets may be requested online by clicking on the corresponding button above to submit the appropriate form, or in person during regular daytime Box Office hours. See below for eligibility details.

  1. Comp Ticket Eligibility: Herberger Institute faculty and staff, as well as students majoring or minoring in one of the schools within the Herberger Institute may receive complimentary tickets to most* ticketed events sponsored by the Institute in one of its venues (see below venue list). Students may request one complimentary ticket; faculty and staff can request up to two. *Some restrictions and exclusions apply, such as Student Scholarship series, Sonoran Chamber and String Quartet performances, etc.
  2. Cast and certain crew members of any Herberger Institute Box Office ticketed production are eligible for additional complimentary tickets. Specific cast-crew complimentary ticket policies and procedures will be sent through each department’s production team.
  3. For any other complimentary ticket requests or questions not covered, please contact hiboxoffice@asu.edu.

Any Herberger Institute event taking place at ASU Gammage Auditorium or other venues with their own box office is handled by their box office staff. The policy may be subject to change.

Ticket Delivery Methods & Fees

Ticket Delivery Methods & Fees

Additional web ticket fees will apply at check-out. Fees do not apply to phone or at door ticket sales.

ASU is proud of our commitment to sustainability. For your convenience, we have two options to receive your ticket. Help us make your experience most enjoyable by skipping the line at the ticket counter!

  • Mobile Tickets / Download to Apple Wallet: If you have a smartphone, you can pull up the code to be scanned directly at the door of the event.
  • Print at Home or Will Call: If you do not have a smartphone, but have access to a printer, please print the order confirmation barcode to be scanned by an usher at the door of the event. If you do not have a smartphone or access to a printer, our Box Office staff is happy to print your tickets.

Food & Beverages

Food & Beverages

No food or beverages (other than water bottles with lids) are allowed inside the seating area of the venues. There are no concessions; however, many venues have vending machines with snacks and beverages nearby.

Late Seating

Late Seating

Please be aware that most events start promptly at the time indicated on the ticket. To minimize disruptions, patrons arriving after the start of the event will be seated at a suitable interval in the program; each production sets their own late seating policy. In most venues, latecomers are seated in a designated row in the back until intermission or an appropriate break. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to performances to find parking and be seated in time.

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds and Exchanges

Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of a cancelled event. Exchanges can be made for a different performance at the discretion of the management when requested prior to the start date and time on the original ticket.

Sold Out Events and Waitlists

Sold Out Events and Waitlists

In the event of a sold out performance, a Waitlist will be implemented at the venue ticket counter one hour prior to the performance. Should guests not have pre-purchased a ticket, they may add their name and number of tickets needed to the waitlist. If there are unclaimed comp tickets at the performance time listed on the ticket, they will be released for sale to patrons in waitlist order. All guests on the waitlist must be present to complete the sale, and waitlist patrons agree to all late seating policies and procedures outlined above.
