Powered by the Public Interest Technology University Network (PIT-UN), Tech for Change: ReMix the Future is a four-day spatial storytelling challenge for civic impact hosted at the Media and Immersive eXperience (MIX) Center and The Studios within the ASU Mesa Center for Creative Technology.
Artists, technologists, students, community members and creators of all kinds are invited to come together to design bold responses to real-world issues in sustainability and public health shaping the future of Mesa and the world—from air quality and water access, to food systems and climate justice.

Choose your track, Choose your challenge. Prototype change.
At Tech for Change: ReMix the Future, your journey begins by choosing a track—a creative launchpad that shapes how you’ll collaborate, what tools you’ll use and where your team will work during the event. From immersive storytelling to game design to startup ideation, each track offers a unique hands-on experience. Capacity is limited based on space and equipment, so we recommend registering early.
Once in one of our four tracks, your team will take on one of two challenge themes—using the tools and methods of your track to design meaningful, public-impact solutions for our communities.

Across all tracks, teams will focus on one of two community-driven challenges co-developed with the MIX Center Community Action Board from Mesa’s Climate Action Plan that reflect urgent areas where creative technology can spark meaningful change.
