Web Application Developer (IT)
The Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts Information Technology department is looking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Web Application Developer. This part time position will be responsible for maintaining and providing functional updates to our current Herberger Institute web applications as well as working with end users to create new apps as needed. Current websites are in PHP and .NET frameworks, running on both Windows and Linux servers and are routinely scanned for security vulnerabilities. This position will require regularly checking our vulnerability database and patching any items arising from scans and penetration testing, ensuring that not only is the code secure, but we are also running secure versions of PHP, Apache, .NET, etc. In addition to security updates, this position will routinely intake feature requests from end users and implement those features after proper testing and debugging.
