Research Advancement Administrator
The Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts (HIDA) Dean’s Office seeks a talented Research Advancement Administrator candidate to join our dynamic Research Advancement team. Small but mighty, our collaborative team is comprised of highly productive and creative individuals who are seeking a similar person who wants to play an active role in advancing our research enterprise. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Research Advancement, the position will primarily manage all post-award activities for HIDA’s five schools and Art Museum. Post-award duties include providing guidance on sponsor and University policies and procedures to researchers, assisting with preparation and submission of required reports, and processing of internal award management requests, such as at-risk accounts, no-cost extensions, rebudget of funds, and sponsor approval requests. Financial transaction management duties include working with unit’s student worker on processing invoice and reimbursement payments, purchase order and requisition preparation and processing, review and approval of purchasing card expenses and travel requests and expense reports.
