Fashion Program Specialist

The School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University is seeking a full-time Program Specialist in Fashion to assist with coordinating the
programming activities and actions in accordance with priorities set by the School’s leadership and ASU policies and procedures. The Program Specialist reports to the Program
Manager.  In collaboration with the Fashion program leadership, faculty and staff, the Program Specialist will support the activities and functions of the fashion program to ensure that goals and
objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, timelines, and funding specifications, among others. The Program Specialist will build,
manage, and track the events and programs and implement initiatives focused on academic, professional, community, and alumni engagement and also perform special projects as
requested.

The School of Art has over 2000 undergraduates, 70 full-time faculty and 13 office and tech staff. Undergraduate degree programs in the School of Art include of Bachelor of Arts (BA) in
Art with concentrations in art history, art studies, museum studies, fashion; an online BA in art history, museum studies, and art studies; Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Art with
concentrations in art education, drawing and painting, ceramics, intermedia, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles. With several nationally ranked programs it is one of the
largest comprehensive art programs in a public research university in the United States. The ASU School of Art plays a prominent role within the Herberger Institute for Design and the
Arts and is located on both the Tempe and downtown Phoenix campuses.
