Coordinator Senior, Equitable Student Engagement and Success

Encompassing intersectional cultural mentorship, programming, student support, and navigation, the Coordinator Senior, Equitable Student Engagement and Success position reports to the Associate Director of Student and Creative Career Services, and will provide co-curricular empowerment and support to underrepresented and marginalized students in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.  The distinct, but interconnected functional areas of student cultural mentorship and programming and equitable student support and navigation will encompass various responsibilities that directly impact the student experience. Student cultural mentorship and programming includes the support of a first-year and transfer BIPOC student program, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and intersectional cultural events, and affinity group and cultural student organization support. Equitable student support and navigation will encompass high-financial need student outreach and navigation, proactive financial wellness communication, and community of care support for students in financial crises.
