Community Engagement Coordinator

ASU Art Museum

Reporting to the Curator of Culture and Community Relations, the Community Engagement Coordinator will be an integral liaison with the Arizona community; our university community of students, staff and faculty; and our international audience of craft artists, scholars and enthusiasts with the goal of increasing the visibility of and access to our craft collections.

 

Working closely with the Learning & Co-Creation department, this position oversees and manages the activation of the Ceramics Research Center, Print Study Room, and Nelson Fine Arts Center exhibits by planning events and programs. This position will be out in the community fostering relationships and planning programming to activate the various exhibitions and offerings of the ASU Art Museum  with a dynamic calendar throughout the year.

 

The Community Engagement Coordinator will also assist with managing the physical condition, care and display of the collection and archive, in addition to producing and developing interpretive materials and public programs focused on the artworks and archival materials in the Museum’s craft collection and Ceramics Research Center Brickyard facility alongside the Learning Program Specialist.

Salary Range: $42,000 - $46,000; DOE
