Next steps for graduate students

ASURITE UserID activation

Have you activated your ASURITE UserID? This gives you access to My ASU and general online transactions. During activation, be sure to set up your asu.edu email address information.

Monitor My ASU

Visit My ASU, where you can take care of Priority Tasks, see when registration opens, view academic department and advising information, take care of finances and more.

MMR immunization

All new students need to submit documentation of measles, mumps and rubeola immunization or immunity. You must submit this form before you can register for classes.

Course selection and registration

Contact your Herberger Institute academic unit about course registration and degree requirements. You can view your academic unit contact information in the "My Programs and Degree Progress" box on My ASU. Note that you may have holds on your enrollment that you need to complete before you may register for classes. More information about class registration

ASU photo ID

New students can secure an official ASU photo ID upon arrival. ASU has two choices for photo IDs, including one with free checking and banking. Both offer access to campus buildings and libraries.

Tuition billing

Tuition charges will be billed to your student account and may be viewed online through My ASU. By registering for classes, you agree to pay all applicable tuition and registration fees. If you decide not to attend, you must completely withdraw from all classes. If tuition is not paid by the applicable due date, you will be automatically enrolled in the tuition installment plan and charged a nonrefundable enrollment fee. Visit the Tuition and Billing website for more information.

International admits

Students from other countries (F-1 status) should read and complete next steps for securing a visa.

Veteran students

ASU welcomes veteran students and dependents of veterans. See next steps for securing veteran benefits.
