Dienae Hunter


Dienae Hunter graduated from ASU in 2018 with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Earth and Environmental Studies. Since graduating, they have been active in the local dance community by collaborating with several artists and performing in numerous shows and festivals. Although primarily trained as a dance artist, Dienae’s creative process exists between the categorizations of dance, theatre, and performance art. Dienae is currently a staff member at [nueBOX], a Valley based non-profit that supports emerging artists. As their Artist Development Assistant, Dienae coordinates the Mesa Arts Center’s Well Fed Artist Workshop Series and curates the Phoenix Dance Observer.
