Biography

William Kirkham is an award-winning Lighting Designer for Theatre and Live Events. 

Arizona Design Credits include work with Arizona Broadway Theatre, Childsplay, and Phoenix Theatre. 

Regional Credits include: Alliance Theatre, Arena Stage, ArtsWest Playhouse, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Contemporary American Theater Festival, The House Theatre of Chicago, The Hypocrites, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Portland Center Stage, Sideshow Theatre, South Coast Repertory, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and Yale University.  His design for The Little Prince at Lookingglass Theatre earned the 2014 Joseph Jefferson Award for Lighting Design.

An Arizona native, William attended Northern Arizona University before earning his MFA in Stage Design from Northwestern University.  He is a proud member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829.
