American Indian Student Support Services
ASU’s American Indian Student Support Services office is available to assist American Indian students throughout their college experience. Search updated scholarship opportunities and explore the additional resources on campus.

The ASU College Attainment Grant Program is our commitment to Arizona’s low-income families – making college affordable and accessible. Consideration deadline is July 1.

Obama Scholars Program
The Obama Scholars Program is open to highly motivated Arizona residents who demonstrate leadership qualities, but who, because of a lack of family resources, face obstacles in obtaining higher education. Funded by gift aid from various sources and Federal Work-Study funds, ASU covers the costs of attending the university for up to eight full-time semesters for Obama Scholars. Consideration deadline is Jan. 1.

Raise.me
Raise.me enables students to earn scholarships throughout high school, starting as early as 9th grade, for doing all the things that best prepare them to succeed, whether that’s getting good grades, volunteering in the community or joining an extracurricular.
ACF/Max and Clara Springer Scholarship
This award is a scholarship competition for first-time freshmen graduating from an Arizona high school who plan to major in the arts (art, dance, music, theatre & film). Recipients are selected on the basis of artistic and academic merit as determined by a selection committee.

Graduate teaching assistantships

The ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts offers graduate students the opportunity for teaching and research assistantships.
