Interior Design History (Minor)

The minor in interior design history is available to students interested in design and culture. The courses designated for the minor are part of the professional studies in interior design environments and serve to inform students about the evolution of interiors, furnishings and decorative arts from ancient Egypt to the present. The coursework introduces theories informing the profession of interior design, while also examining cultures from around the globe, as they influence human needs and behaviors in the living and working environment.
