The Architectural League of New York recently published a report on the work of Brazilian architect Affonso Eduardo Reid by Bryan Maddock, an instructor in The Design School at Arizona State University.

Maddock’s ongoing research and design work emphasize utopia as a strategic tool for proactive rebellion and a call for renewed professional agency. As the director of Fantastic Offense, a design and research practice proposing that architecture can be a proactive offense for the city, Maddock was invited earlier this year to share his thoughts on the future of design education as part of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts' ReDesign.School initiative.
