We Witnessed

Harry Wood Gallery at Arizona State University Tempe Campus presents, "We Witnessed," a painting and drawing group exhibition from artists of different cultures, races, and experiences. This group of artist presents work based on the human condition, relationships, and the footprint we leave on the planet.
Artists in the show: Juan Jose Oliveros Saldaña, Clara Kesti, Brianna Noble, April Chiarle, and Victoria Mitchell.
Juan Jose Oliveros Saldaña works in mixed media to explore relationships and life experiences through the connections that an individual creates and develops. Clara Kesti aspires to create work which touches the mind and heart through symbolic narrative, working in charcoal and oils, and dabbling in silverpoint when she’s granted patience. Brianna Noble is in her senior year pursuing a painting major at ASU. She primarily paints in oils about how family and culture has shaped her outlook on the world. April Chiarle, a junior pursuing degrees in Painting and Geography at ASU, uses watercolors and oils to express ideas of human interaction on a personal and global scale. Victoria Mitchell is pursuing degrees in painting and philosophy. She works in oils and watercolors to express the different workings of human experiences.
