TheatreLAB: Stories from the Conquest of the Kingdom of New Mexico
A two night production: Part 1, 7:30 p.m., Dec. 5 | Part 2, 7:30 p.m., Dec. 6

TheatreLAB is a series of staged readings of new and original works in development.
This is a two-night production. The first half of the piece is 7:30 p.m., Dec. 5 and the second half of the piece is 7:30 p.m., Dec. 6.
Stories loosely based on Gaspar Perez de Villagra's "History of the Conquest of the Kingdom of New Mexico" which narrates the European colonization of the North American Southwest by Don Juan de Onate in 1598. My own dramatic poems have expanded Villagra's history to include Native American myths and cowboy legends. Written and directed by Oscar Giner.
