Arizona State University hosts the 31st annual conference of the Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts

The SLSA 2017 theme is "Out of Time," and papers/panels topics on the theme will include: nonhuman temporalities, species extinction, life after humans, slow time, the long now, time and computing, digital temporalities, bio-political time, time and capital and much more.

Keynotes addresses--which are free and open to the public--are as follows (talk titles tentative):

  • Fri, Nov 10, 5:45-7:15, MU Arizona Room. Sha Xin Wei,  Topological Media: Embodied Theory and Art
  • Sat, Nov 11, 5:45-7:15, MU Arizona Room. McKenzie Wark, Theory for the Anthropocene
