Opening Reception: Anamnesis: Transcend into memory

The artists show common themes of emotion and personal experience. Some of the artists navigate their personal connection with nature and environments by recreating past experiences or creating a new one entirely. Other artist's use portraiture and figures to describe their experience and guide a deeper connection to the work and world around them. All the artists communicate an ethereal and transportive quality to theirs works, through both a subdued and an intense approach. The works are created through paint medium, oil, watercolor and acrylic, while also featuring photography, charcoal and other multimedia.
