Musical Interlude Series Presents an ASU Faculty Chamber Music Recital

Jan. 31, 10:30 a.m.

Please join Arizona State University faculty colleagues Stephanie Weiss, Nancy Buck, Martin Schuring and Andrew Campbell as they present evocative chamber music by Charles Loeffler.

Born in Germany in 1861, Loeffler emigrated to the United States in the late 19th century where he served as the concertmaster of the Boston Symphony orchestra for 20 years. His unique compositional technique combines elements of German, Russian and French styles, evoking such composers as Debussy, Franck and Skriabin in a completely original fashion.

This concert takes place at the Musical Instrument Museum.  For more information, visit the Musical Instrument Museum website and click on "Concerts," or call 480-478-6000. This concert is free with museum admission or $7 for the performance only.
