The perception we have of our place in the world around us is a level of consciousness that is the defining point of our own humanity. As artists, to document your own self is an attempt at creating a subjective representation of the objective you. It is a widely paradoxical phenomenon that has an infinite number of interpretations.
"Elasticity of Self" is a photographic exhibition featuring work from Justin Aungst, Anthony Acedo, Hannabal Rosabal, Julia Gallagher, Alex Romero, Cleo Grater and Mariah Moneda.
Join the artists for the opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22.
