Brooklyn Rider String Quartet: 'Healing Modes'

Brooklyn Rider presents the world premiere of a new work by Matana Roberts, written for them and commissioned by the ASU Visiting Quartet Residency Program. This program also includes other newly commissioned works for the quartet and the musical inspiration for this commissioning project, Beethoven’s deeply personal quartet Op. 132, which includes his "Heiliger Dankgesang."
