2020 Visiting Artist Lecture: He Gong

Please join us for a lecture with renowned Chinese artist and Sichuan University professor, He Gong. Professor He Gong’s paintings, drawings, sculpture assemblages and video installations explore the intersections of Eastern and Western art and culture through expressive and challenging methods. He Gong will also be discussing his recent retrospective “Out of Place” held at the Himalayas Museum in Shanghai and his current two-person exhibition with School of Art professor Mark Pomilio, entitled “A State of Being,” which runs through March 29th at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum.
