Fabrications Lab Coordinator
The Fabrication Lab Coordinator provides programmatic and operational support for the MIX Center Fabrication Lab (FabLab). Reporting to the Assistant Director for Center Engagement, this position coordinates daily lab operations, instructional support, and public programming in a cross-disciplinary makerspace environment.
The FabLab is a 2,400-square-foot shared learning space in the Media and Immersive eXperience (MIX) Center, and supports experimentation with digital fabrication technologies across film, immersive media, visual effects, design, and the arts. The Coordinator supports students, faculty, community members, and visiting artists by facilitating access to tools, training, and project guidance from ideation through implementation.
This position operates with moderate autonomy, applies established practices and procedures, and collaborates closely with internal partners to support learning, engagement, and program delivery.
Position Salary Range:
$50,000–$60,000, depends on experience within posted range
