Students interested in a BSD in Architecture Studies, Graphic Design (Visual Communication), Housing and Community Development, Industrial Design, Interior Design or the BSLA in Landscape Architecture are required to pass a portfolio milestone at the end of their freshman year to be eligible to complete the degree. The process includes the submission of an online application.

Students interested in the BFA in Art, BFA in Dance, BA/BM in Music, BA in Theatre, and BA in Film (Film and Media Production) must pass additional entrance requirements beyond those of ASU. These areas of study require an additional audition, interview, or portfolio review for full acceptance into the major. The process includes the submission of an online application.
