Class Registration
If you are a new freshman, you will register for classes during your orientation session. Returning students register for courses via their My ASU account.
Returning students should check the My Classes information box on their My ASU page and click on the appropriate semester to determine their registration date. The date and time indicated is the first date and time you will have access to the registration system to add classes for the corresponding semester. Registration continues through the drop/add period, which is the first week of the semester. Check the academic calendar for specific dates.
Holds on your account will prevent you from accessing the registration system; be sure to address any holds well in advance of your registration date. Herberger Institute students are required to consult with their academic advisor each semester through 60 hours (typically the end of sophomore year). If you have an advising hold on your account, call the Advising Office early to schedule an appointment.
The schedule of classes is typically available several weeks prior to the beginning of registration.
