  • Alum studies community music education in Brazil
    After researching community music education programs in Brazil as part of a Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant, Arizona State University alumna Amy Swietlik is founding the Harmony Project Phoenix for children in low-income communities in south Phoenix.

     

  • ASU School of Art professor talks teaching, exhibiting
    Angela Ellsworth is an associate professor in the intermedia program in Arizona State University's School of Art, in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. She's also one of the contemporary American artists hand-picked for the show “State of the Art: Discovering American Art Now,” on view at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, in Bentonville, Arkansas, through Jan. 19, 2015. The director and curator of the museum made 1,000 studio visits around the country before deciding which artists to include.
