Daniel Mayer, an instructional specialist in the School of Art, currently has artwork featured in “Art Under Foot: Handmade Floors at the PHX Sky Train,” an exhibition at The Gallery at City Hall.

Guitars for Vets
The first Arizona State University student veterans to complete the 10-week Guitars for Vets program, Jonathan Jameson and Jason Smith were presented with the stringed instruments by professor Mark von Hagen, director for ASU’s new Office of Veteran and Military Academic Engagement.

These students are given a whole new warehouse of tools and a new environment to creatively fill, all while trying to make a distinct impact on the downtown community.
