Herberger Institute

Research + Proposal Support

The Herberger Institute Research Center houses a management system for sponsored research grant funding directed into the institute from the proposal development stage through pre-award and post award activities. The center staff work in close cooperation with other university administration offices and centers in the research and applied arts and design project lifecycle, integrating and facilitating specific applications of university research mechanisms in support of faculty and graduate students in their research endeavors in the Institute.

The center works to create and extend ongoing, large-scale funded research projects that connect institute faculty and students into topics of critical importance for university-wide research initiatives. Through regular interface with the Office of the Vice President for Research Administration, the Global Institute of Sustainability, the Institute for Humanities Research and other university units, new opportunities for faculty participation are identified.
