  1. Applicants must fill in the online registration/payment form through the RegOnline system prior to mailing the application. An application fee of $120 (U.S. dollars) for the Bösendorfer USASU competition or $100 (U.S. dollars) for the Schimmel USASU competition can be paid online through the RegOnline system at that time (Visa or MasterCard only) or by sending a check or money order with the application (follow the mailing instructions on the RegOnline site).  Applications without fees received by the due date will not be reviewed.
  2. Download the application for the competition you are entering.
  3. Print and fill out application.
  4. Email a recent high resolution (300 dpi) color digital image of yourself to pianocompetition@asu.edu. Please save the image with your first and last name
  5. Mail printed application, application fee (if not paid online through RegOnline) and additional materials, listed below, to Bösendorfer/Schimmel International Piano Competitions, Attention: Herberger Institute Box Office, International Piano Competition Registration, 1001 S. Forest Mall, PO Box 872102, Dixie Gammage Hall, Room 132, Tempe, AZ 85287-2102, USA

For information on the Arizona Young Artist Piano Festival and the Schimmel AZ Piano Phoenix Young Artist Piano Competition, including the Winner's Showcase, please visitazyac.org.
The festival will feature recitals, workshops and master classes by local artists, guest artists and clinicians. It will also feature the final rounds of the Schimmel AZ Piano Phoenix Young Artist Piano Competition, a competition open to young pianists who are current residents of Arizona.
