Staff Council

The institute offers staff the opportunity to approach the Dean's Office with ideas, concerns and questions through The Herberger Institute Staff Council. The council was formed in 1996 to bridge communication between staff representatives and administration and exists to identify concerns of staff institute-wide in an effort to promote solutions to these concerns.

In attempt to make the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts a better place to work, the Herberger Institute Staff Council's intent is to improve everyone's experience. Dean Kwang-Wu Kim welcomes ideas, concerns and discussions through the Staff Council.

The council and all Herberger Institute staff are represented by the council chair at executive committee meetings, led by Dean Kim. Herberger Institute staff are advised of issues that support the institute mission.
