Please join tenor Gerald Gray, guest artist from SUNY Fredonia, and pianist Andrew Campbell, director of the ASU Collaborative Piano program performing one of the greatest achievements in German Song, Die Schöne Müllerin. The dramatic work, a collaboration between poet Wilhelm Müller and composer Franz Schubert, follows the story of a young man’s love from the optimistic first meeting, to infatuation, heartbreak, despair and ultimately tragedy.

Gerald Gray has sung this cycle to great acclaim throughout the country. The performance features super titles of the English translation and images projected above the stage. An event not to be missed!
