ASU School of Music celebrates the music of the great German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen presenting a two-event festival of his masterworks. This second event features a video, ensemble and electronic music performed by the Arizona Contemporary Music Ensemble (ACME), conducted by Glenn Hackbarth with sound projection by Fabrizio Rosso. Stockhausen, one of the most innovative avant-garde composers of this century contributed significantly to the formulation of serial music and was one of the pioneers of electronic music. |
