Hours, Maps + Parking

Most campus parking is FREE all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Exceptions include restricted, metered, special-event day and visitor/pay and Residential hall lots, as noted at each lot entrance.

Decal Lots: FREE on non-event weekends. No decal is required EXCEPT in Residence and Restricted lots.
Metered Parking: All meters at the Tempe campus require payment from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., Monday–Saturday. Meters are $1.50 per hour, with a maximum of either one- or two-hour parking (One-hour meters have a gold-colored label and two-hour meters have maroon-colored labels.).
Pay-By-Space Lots: In effect 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., Monday–Saturday. Pay at pay machine. $2/hour.
Visitor Lots: Available from 6 a.m. – 10:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. $2-3/hour, $8-12/day.
Disability Parking: Available in all parking areas.

Weekday Parking: Marked metered, short-term parking in front of museum and along Forest Avenue and Gammage Parkway; Visitor parking in Apache Boulevard Parking structure. Free parking is available in ASU Art Museum-marked spaces at the south end of Tempe Center, located at the northeast corner of Mill Avenue and 10th Street. Visitors using museum spaces must sign in at the front desk in the lobby of the Nelson Fine Arts Center.
Weekend Parking: Front of museum; metered, short-term parking along Forest Avenue and Gammage Parkway; 10th Street Parking structure, Apache Boulevard Parking structure.

ASU Art Museum Ceramics Research Center, Tempe Center

Hours: Starting May 19, the Ceramics Research Center will use summer hours. Our summer hours on Tuesdays are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. We will return to our extended hours on Tuesday nights beginning August 25 with our Welcome Back Students party.
Tuesday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. (summer hours: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Wednesday–Saturday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Directions: Phoenix Urban Research Laboratory (PURL) + Stardust is located on the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus. PURL occupies the 8th and 9th floors of the historic Security Building on the southwest corner of Central Avenue and Van Buren Street. Enter the security building through the visitor entrance on Central Avenue.

Transportation + Parking Options: We highly encourage all visitors to use the new METRO Light Rail system. Be sure to use the Central Station stop (Central Avenue and Van Buren Street), located across Van Buren Street from PURL, directly to the north. Most bus lines also access the Central Station as well. Passes are good for both light rail and bus systems.
