| Bio: Pat Smith is the Director for Fiscal Business Services for the Herberger College of the Arts. His office has oversight of financial operations, internal controls, the school's strategic financial planning process, the general accounting operations, and provides business services for the Dean's Office. Pat has more than twelve years experience in finance, first as a financial analyst at Andersen Consulting and then as a Finance Manager at Intel where he had oversight of a multi-billion dollar division. Two years ago Pat left the corporate sector to pursue his interest in higher education, where he most recently worked for the Maricopa Community College District in the Controller’s office. Pat earned his BA from the UC Berkeley and his MBA from the University of Oregon. |
